In September 2005, we issued a challenge in a bid to discover Asia’s best budding mobile filmmakers. Out of the many entries that flooded in, 15 outstanding entries were eventually selected.

Our 15 semi-finalists were flown to Singapore for the First Time Mobile FilmMakers’ workshop. Conducted by our panel of experts, participants were taught the tricks and tips of film-making.

The highlight of the two-day workshop was a hands-on session where each contestant was given a Nokia N90 to create their own mobifilm. From these, our 6 finalists were selected.
