Jeffrey’s MOBIFILM TIPS

1. Always have your phone unit ready on hand. You'll never know when the most exciting images will confront you or unfold before your very eyes. There were even cases in the Philippines where images from a phone unit were helpful in solving crimes.

2.   Always have your unit pre-set whether for image or video set-up. That way, it'll be easy for you to catch images where timing is important.

3.   When taking images, always have a string attached to your wrist. It'll give you a sense of security while shooting in rough or uneasy terrains (like rivers or seas) or from running vehicles (as in tracking shots).

4.   Experiment with all the options that the camera phone allows you (ex. black & white, sepia or normal tone, etc.). That way, you can maximize both its practical and artistic functions.

5.   Just shoot away. Don't be too fussy with the artistic considerations when using a phone camera. With such a gadget, spontaneity and candidness of the shots are more apropos.

6.   Be aware and take advantage of the unobtrusive quality of a phone camera. As compared with a professional camera, the phone camera allows you to shoot your subjects in their most natural and unself-conscious state.
