Profile: Saumya Sen
Samuya Sen
Interview »
After having spent 13 years in advertising and 5 years as Creative Director, Saumya gave it all up. He ventured out on his own and started Leapfrog – a communications consulting outfit exclusively for the social sector.

It was born out of professional and personal reasons; and today is the three-year old, fledgling outfit he nourishes with love and care. Being the versatile person that he is, Saumya Sen has produced diverse works at Leap Frog, including Public Service Advertising, documentaries and he even offers complete communication solutions inclusive of film, radio and print elements.

Inspired and enriched by his experience during the 'cricket for peace' journey to Pakistan and driven by his personal belief in the value of non-violence, Saumya Sen (through Leapfrog) is currently in the process of expanding the scope of the 'cricket for peace programme', and drawing out a blue print for a South Asian peace movement/programme involving the youth called 'Beyond Boundaries'.

This movement would work primarily as an exchange programme amongst underprivileged children and youth of the region to encourage brotherhood and camaraderie through cultural and sporting interactions. It would also work, at local levels, as an integrative platform bringing together children from different socio-economic backgrounds in an attempt to bridge social divides.
