I want to be part of the new generation of mobile filmmakers because it can be helpful with my studies and can further enhance my skills and creativity especially in video. I believe that with these mobile phones, I would learn basic techniques in video while having fun doing it.

One of the things that sets the Philippines apart from all other countries, is one of there many forms of public transport, in particular, the jeepney.

I chose jeepneys because it reflects my beliefs and values, and ideals as a Filipino. Aside from that, jeepneys are one of the best informational elements in the Philippine society about its culture. It reflects the transformation of the Philippine society from the American period up to the present, and can serve as an educational media to the people in a very accessible way.

Knowledge about the Philippine society and culture stems from the information of the transformation the jeepney through the art found in a jeepney.

The first jeepney actually rose at the end of the World War II, when Filipinos modified and transformed surplus American military jeeps into transportation units. Today, there are thousands of jeepneys in the country and very few elsewhere.

Jeepneys are a colourful part of any street scene in the Philippines. The unique thing about jeepneys is that no two of these flashy machines are ever alike. Flamboyant overkill characterizes these jeepneys, which sport several silvery hood ornaments, usually galloping horses, rows of mirrors, ranks of radio aerials and an uncountable number of reflectors. Jeepneys are also said to be a painter's canvass.

Different colors, lines, mini landscapes, and images (e.g. Religious art, vulgar paintings, and western icons) are used as decorative motifs on jeepneys, making each vehicle startlingly different from the next one.

Jeepneys are more than a form of transport; they are an icon that mirrors the innovativeness, creativeness, resourcefulness and ingenuity of the Filipinos.

The story would include the evolution of jeepneys, but would focus on the various designs in a jeepney which that reflects the Philippine society and culture.
